If our last feature wasn’t a conventional beach wedding, our feature today will reel us back in to what they are truly like. The details and the color palette of this wedding really gives the impression that this couple embraced the beautiful beach elements. The white and blue was perfect with the starfish accents, specially when it was interpreted in their amazing cake. It looks so refreshing and pretty that it makes me want to sing “Under the Sea”. Congratulations Melissa & Michael & !
Wedding
Sweet Elegance
We love that this beach wedding does not conform to conventional and traditional details. The bridesmaids were in beautiful floor length plum dresses and the groom & his groomsmen looked so dapper in their complete suit and bowties. Away from the flowy and casual outfits beach wedding entourage are usually given. Then the reception was whole new level of elegance and playful. The decorations were mostly in steel gray and purple, an unlikely, but nevertheless awesome color combination. The cake was not in it’s traditional pyramid shape structure (largest at the bottom and smallest at the top) but rather it was a bit abstract and we’re totally digging this new style, specially the contrast between the steel gray tiers and the white floral accent tier. Totally awesome indeed. Congratulations Sambry & Rudy !
Simple and Floral Wedding
This wedding sure has lovely floral details. All of which brought pops of colors to the refined simplicity the event had. The cake captured this style altogether and is pretty much the essence of the theme. It was a simple 3-tiered white cake but had few purple petals decorating it. It’s simple and good enough to eat on it’s own but the floral details made it more appealing – similar to the wedding. It was simple but it was lovely and refreshing to look at, then you add in the bouquet, boutonniere, etc. and you have redefined the simplicity. Congratulations Shannon & Tim!
Sea Breeze Wedding
A very breezy day for TJ & Kelsey’s wedding. It wasn’t entirely sunny but the overcast clouds gave their ceremony a dramatic feel, specially when the sun started to set on the wedding party. It went really well with the purple details they had for it made things look elegant. But despite the dramatic elegance feel of it, the wedding still looked laid-back which is what our bride envisioned – stress free and relaxing. Congratulations Tj & Kelsey! And to everyone, advanced Happy New Year.
Gray and Lively
Gray can look somewhat boring and cold (gray sky) or stiff but when Lauren & Brett made us of this color for their beach wedding, things ended up looking nice, lively and even, elegant. Although, we should probably credit the playful vibe of this wedding to our couple’s fun personality. It’s still eminent how the light gray made things shine through out the day. It wasn’t an “in your face” kind of color and it blended well with the sand and sun. It was very simple and sleek but a perfect complement for this wonderful day and couple. Congratulations Lauren & Brett!
