Gray and Lively

Gray can look somewhat boring and cold (gray sky) or stiff but when Lauren & Brett  made us of this color for their beach wedding, things ended up looking nice, lively and even, elegant. Although, we should probably credit the playful vibe of this wedding to our couple’s fun personality. It’s still eminent how the light gray made things shine through out the day. It wasn’t an “in your face” kind of color and it blended well with the sand and sun. It was very simple and sleek but a perfect complement for this wonderful day and couple. Congratulations Lauren & Brett!

Lauren wore her mothers garter and her sisters veil.  She wore beautiful bright blue Badgley Mischka heels. Her bridesmaids made her a sign “soon to be Mrs. Briggs” and one of her friends gave her the prettiest jewelry stand!  The girls all picked their style of soft gray gowns and Lauren looked absolutely stunning!  One of my favorite moments is right after her dad saw her, it’s the sweetest!  They had a beautiful ceremony at Chapel by the Sea.  Brett’s nephew ran down the aisle to meet Uncle Brett!  The Hyatt was decorated with gray textured linens, white and peach florals with lanterns.  Since there cocktail hour was a little earlier, we took them out for sunset and it was the most gorgeous light you have ever seen!  At the end of the night Brett, his dad, and his Fraternity brothers serenaded Lauren with a special song.  So many amazing moments!!
