Spring is leaving us so fast and summer is almost here. That means hordes of soon-to-be brides will be frantically planning their weddings in order to get prepared for the new season. But before we check what’s going to be in this summer, let’s go back and see what colors made it to the top for beach weddings this spring! Here we go:
Gray
Gray, which has been growing in popularity through 2010, continued to be popular into spring of 2017 and likely further. It’s a wonderful neutral that goes well with virtually any other color. It’s also extremely sheek and elegant, so it works very well whether your wedding will be casual or formal.
Turquoise
Another color that has been quite popular for some time is turquoise, and it’s no surprise that it will continue to be a color featured at weddings in the spring. It’s bright, fresh and beautiful, and it is also diverse, going well with a variety of other colors.
Coral
Coral was one of the hottest colors for weddings in 2016, and will continue as such at least into the spring of 2017. Again, it’s a vivid, fresh and bright color that demands attention and is complementary to a number of other colors. Coral is especially lovely with gold, mint and cream.
Blush
One of the most popular colors we have seen in 2017 is blush – this color is going to be very hot. It’s a feminine, dainty, very elegant color that is versatile. It can remain soft and lovely with complementary colors of cream, steel gray and gold or it can make a statement with contrasting colors like navy and emerald. We love blush for weddings and expect to see a lot of it this year.
Pale Blue
Another color that came onto the scene in spring is pale blue, perfect for the vintage wedding craze and very versatile. This color is spectacular with yellows and oranges, darker blue shades and charcoal gray.
Sky and Magenta
Navy and Ivory
Lastly, navy and ivory have been the perfect match for beach weddings this spring. The color scheme splashes just the right nautical and elegant feel.
