I love how this destination Venice wedding doubled as a travel getaway for our couple and their guests – complete with the groom holding up a sunflower marker just so everyone wouldn’t get lost! Olga and Matteo’s wedding was pretty intimate and simple but they compensated with amazing photos around the city. I love how they went around a variety of locations, from brick alleys, crowded tourist spots, and even in parks just to have their romantic photos taken. Plus, their outfits were elegant and I specially loved Olga’s knee length off white dress. Congratulations Olga & Matteo!

Matteo and Olga live in Switzerland but chose Venice for as a destination for their wedding, their friends from all over the world would have had to travel anyway. I met up the bride in their apartment in Mestre where the make up artist was taking care of her and many of her friends were still having breakfast. We went to the terminal where a boat was waiting for us, all together we reached Venice enjoying the seascape and having drinks and small food. A walk towards the wedding venue (the big sunflower was a brilliant idea to allow the group to keep sight of the groom). After the wedding, we went back to the boat where lunch has been served while reaching Burano island – a lovely place with colored houses that gave a nice contribution to couple portraits. After the throwing of the bouquet we went back to Venice tasting a superb cake
