Vibrant Wedding Day

The light colored entourage outfits and the sunny day made this wedding vibrant and radiant. But of course, we can’t forget to credit our couple’s bright smiles all throughout the day too. Anyway, this wedding is not just “vibrant” but beautifully decorated too. The album was filled with rustic and vintage details. Like our bride’s antique brooch bouquet (which we love so much!) and the wooden sign posts scattered throughout their venues. It was a nice complement for the vibrant elegance of our couple. Congratulations Kira & Cory!

Kira & Cory Hughes were such a great couple to work with. They are one of the most sincere, genuine and fun loving couples I have ever met. From the beginning they decided they wanted to really put their own twist on their wedding and make it completely their own. Just about everything was handmade by the bride and groom. All of the details, from the bamboo arbor on the beach (constructed by Cory and Kira’s father) to the bouquets, flower and table arrangements to even the reception decor. Kira’s mom made her bouquet and helped with the table arrangements. The flowers were purchased locally and put together by the bride and her family. Kira’s bouquet was made of antique brooches, some of which were very special. The reception was even held in the beautiful backyard of Kira’s parents home. Mike and Kristine White were such wonderful hosts. Their backyard is a special place for Kira and Cory; it’s actually where they were engaged. Their luscious backyard was filled with homemade decor (made by Kira and Cory). Everything had a bit of a vintage, rustic as well as a coastal feel to it. They also had a bar Tiki hut in which the Chef’s Table served drinks. The food was actually a pig roast cooked by The Chef’s Table. They used roasting boxes to roast the pigs. The groom made the playlist that played as the DJ all night. Bee lights wrapped the large oak trees throughout the backyard while several crystal and rustic chandeliers hung from he branches. There was also a home made swing that hung from the tree and has been there since Kira and her sister were younger. It was a beautiful event and full of genuine love and laughter. Probably one of the most heartfelt and loving couples I have ever shot.
