Good morning, folks! I am so thrilled to share with you today’s dose of tropical love! Kate and Devon’s big day was at an aquarium (lucky couple!) in Florida. There were lots of details to love – one that I can’t keep my eyes off is their wedding cake. You better check it yourself and swoon over! Congratulations, Kate and Devon! You look wonderful together and the whole Beach Bride gang wishes you wonderful years ahead!
Their vision was black and white stripes with a touch of golden pineapples!
The centerpieces were fun and tropical palm leaves surrounded by golden pineapples – the perfect addition to the colorful uplighting and the sharks (did I mention it was held in an aquarium).
The simplicity of the few palm leaves to top off the arch as well as the palm leave island runner paved a perfect path to the altar.
All the details from her grandmother’s pineapple candlesticks to her choreographed first dance with her father were oh so special!
The Event Planner’s Advice
Some advice that I can give to couples still in the planning process is that your wedding is truly a reflection of you so make it feel personal. It is all about the little details and one of my favorite little details from this wedding was the custom ring box that I actually made for Katie and Devon.
