The majestic colors of the sea was the perfect complement for this rustic and DIY wedding. Our couple didn’t use that much color for their details and decors as they used neutral tones such as browns from burlaps and white for the flowers. So the beauty of the blues and greens of the sea and the sky really stood out and made their day more lovely. Congratulations Danyra & Brad!

It is here! Danyra & Brad! ! Talk about an amazing wedding from start to finish. Seriously, every frame was just astounding. But, it’s easy to say that when the destination is breathtaking and the couple themselves rock it out.Let’s go back a bit. Danyra and I are from the same little border town. It was such a pleasure to photograph so many people from my high school days in the last year. It has truly been an honor that I have been entrusted to capture such a special day for them. It is crazy to think we all graduated from high school ten years ago. Actually, too crazy so I am going to stop thinking about it. Danyra emailed me last year and told me she was getting married in Tulum, Mexico. Right on the beach, in a small beach town, with people closest to them. I was cartwheeling around my room before I responded with a YES OF COURSE I WILL PHOTOGRAPH YOUR WEDDING.I love when couples have a meaning behind every aspect to their day, it makes it all so special. These two were very in-the-moment throughout their day. They embraced the tears, enjoyed every laugh, and held onto hugs just a tad bit longer and tighter, they are just so freaking awesome. It was such a joy to be with these two on their wedding day and I can’t thank them enough for allowing me to document such an incredible day in their journey together.

What inspired the wedding day outfits?
