Met And Wed At Rincón

Suzanne and Vincente decided to get married at the place where they first met – talk about being symbolic! The warm hues that colored the event were perfect for the setting. It was a great contrast to the cool tones that the beach and nature provided. The bride, wearing a vintage beaded dress, looked regal and as radiant as her bouquet. When you look at the gallery as a whole, you can feel the intimacy and warmness of the wedding (credits to an awesome photographer). And to Suzanne and Vicente, congratulations on tying the knot!

The Album Story:

Suzanne and Vincente have a real Rincón romance story. They met several years ago at Pool Bar, an iconic Rincón Watering hole. He was drinking a beer while she had white wine, and they listened to the waves. Rincón continued to be a special place for them throughout their relationship, and when they decided to tie the knot they couldn’t think of a better place than to go back to where it all began, in Rincón. The bride Suzanne wore a sequined mermaid wedding dress perfect for her romantic beach wedding. She selected warm hues and ombre details that adorned every corner of her classy affair. The guests enjoyed the sunset view from the deck at La Copa Llena while enjoying h’orderves and toasting the happy couple. As the sun melted into the sea they danced the night away and new Rincón memories were made as they took their first steps into married life.

Wedding Outfit Inspiration:

Casual elegance was the dress code for Suzanne and Vincente’s wedding. He wore a suit with sneakers and of course a big smile. Suzanne chose a gorgeous vintage beaded floor length mermaid dress for the occasion. The beaded details and light flowing fabric were a perfect choice for a tropical wedding. The guests wore peach and coral accent colors to match the decor.

Favorite Part Of The Day:

My favorite part of the day was doing the getting ready shots with Suzanne, the bride, before the ceremony. I always love having this time with bride before the big event. There is so much anticipation and excitement in the air. We had a chance to do some portraits on the outside veranda of the beautiful guest house Tres Palmas. The veranda overlooks the sea and the filtered light coming through the palm trees made for incredible photographs.

The Do-It-Yourself Projects:

The Bride and her family created playful signs on chalk boards and empty Medalla boxes (the local beer in Puerto Rico). Some of them read “welcome to paradise” and a fun one at the ceremony read, “Today two families become one. We ask that you please pick a seat not a side”.

The Highlights From The Ceremony And Reception:

The adorable ring bearer bringing the rings down the aisle tied to a seashell with peach ribbon set the tone for a playful ceremony full of smiles. Although Suzanne and Vincente’s heartfelt vows left some of the guests with tears of joy in their eyes. The gorgeous decorations, as well as La Copa Llena’s signature seafood menu made for a fantastic reception.

The Theme:

Casual elegance and seaside romance was the theme for Suzanne and Vincente’s Rincon beach wedding.

Memorable Moment:

Vincente and Suzanne reading their vows to each other was the most memorable part of the ceremony. You could just see from the look in their eyes that every word was true and heartfelt. I have feeling their vows will never be forgotten.

In Addition:

I love photographing weddings. The thing I like most is finding the unique things that make each couple special. The way an event is decorated and the dress and flowers the couple chooses say a lot about their personality. I love photographing the details and the couple to bring their individual sense of style to the surface.
