Planning a beach wedding (or destination!) this year? Check out H Photography‘s dreamy set of Joey and Kim’s vacation wedding! One really can never have too much of vitamin sea so we just know how much you’ll love today’s feat. A vacation rental became the perfect venue for their intimate ceremony, coupled with splendid shores and a scenic sunset. Trust me, it looks even more exciting than it sounds. Read on and don’t forget to add this vacation rental to your dream destinations!
Extra Special Details
Again, a vacation rental was their venue (they just Googled vacation rentals in Michigan). It became a shared home so they were able to really spend time with loved ones. Consider the value and memories you’ll get from this approach!
They chose to have everyone have a candle and pass the flame around a circle for our unity gesture (instead of just the two of them lighting it). This made it so special. There were tears, smiles and all-around joy in their emotional, personal ceremony!
The Bride’s Advice
♥ Make it about YOU and what YOU want out of your day.
♥ We threw out tradition a long time ago in the planning process, and couldn’t be happier with our end result!
♥ Get creative with venues: we realized very quickly on if we went the route of choosing a vacation home, we could have much more for our money.
♥ Focus on 3 things you want from your big day as priorities, and let the rest fall into place. Our 3 things were we wanted a big home for our closest family and friends to share within our budget, I wanted a beautiful table setting (so this meant we compromised on florals for our ceremony), and we didn’t want the stress of having to choose specific vendors so we chose a location that allowed us to choose who we wanted.
