The timing on this photo is everything. It added drama to the trashing of the dress. If you plan on getting your dress drenched might as well do it in a most epic way possible. I love the fact that they may have posed for some shots, but it still looked stunning. The sunset, the ocean, and the vibe this couple is giving are well balanced. All the elements this shoot had taken it up a notch. I can’t express myself enough how I love the drama this trash-the-dress shoot has.
The Story:
Trash the dress photographed at Jones Beach in New York. We went there on a summer afternoon to catch the warm sun as it was coming down. The couple was extremely comfortable in front of the camera and madly in love, freshly coming off their wedding day. The weather was nice and warm and so was the atmosphere as the couple sprinkled each other with water from puddles and got wet in the waves of the Atlantic ocean.
Favorite Part Of The Day:
The intimate dusk pictures of the couple in the tall grass. Beautiful silhouettes and very spontaneous poses.
