From Physics to Happily Ever After

Mick ♥ Daisy

Absolutely the perfect match, these two know how to make each other laugh. Both enjoy a lot of the same things; mostly good food, good friends, and a sense of adventure. They make sure they are always there for each other, and say “I love you” everyday. It’s definitely sweetness overload around Mick and Daisy! Congratulations to you both! Now that you are tied with each other, may your love bloom more and brighter!

The Love Story

We first met in Physics class. We immediately connected eyes, he smiled and then sat down right next to me. He played it cool at first, but the connection was undeniable. After the semester, he took me out to the nicest restaurant in town, and it has been a fairytale ever since. He planned a romantic weekend during our first visit to Florida. It included an executive level suite at the Ritz Carlton, jet skiing with a pod of dolphins, romantic dinners, relaxing by the pool, and on the last day he proposed to me during sunset at Ana Maria Island. Afterwards we had an intimate candlelight dinner at The Beach Bistro. –Daisy

The Happily Ever After

Extra Special Details

The bridal style. Daisy went for an ivory mermaid dress.

The decor. It was a summer Florida wedding so the couple wanted light colors, but still a semi-formal classical wedding. A four-post arch draped in white linens, accentuated with a single pink rose flower decoration proved a wonderful altar for Daisy and Mick to declare our vows, while the pink and sky blue sand ceremony symbolized the uniting of  families.

Favorite part of the day. The first dance. They only had a couple weeks to master the choreography, and it was the first time for both to have any formal dancing lessons. Surprisingly,  it turned out to be one of the most fun and memorable moments of the night for the couple and their guests.

The biggest expense. The couple says it was food and accommodations at The Sandpearl Resort but it was definitely worth it!

The DIY. They made the centerpieces and the flowers on the aisle. They filled jars with sand and added flowers.

The Color palette. Blue, gold, navy.

Tips From The Bride

♥ Enjoy the whole process, and get a good wedding planner. Barbara from Artistry Designs Group, helped us through the whole process, and was able to suggest all of the best vendors. Without her, I don’t think the wedding would have gone a smoothly and as beautifully as it did.

♥ Tell the wedding planner everything you want, and then just let him/her do their magic. Enjoy all of the celebrations leading up to the big day, and don’t stress the day of the wedding. Enjoy yourself, and be present in the moment… Even if the cake design is NOT what you wanted 😉
