Flora Farms Destination Wedding

And just like that, it’s already December! While we’re here celebrating the best things that happened this year why not start with something elegant, eclectic, whimsical, and of course everything about the beach! This whimsy and fun beach wedding of Dawn and Sean go beyond details and specific design choices. They brought in some interesting design pieces, like the ladder ceremony arch, which was layered with elegant chiffon material, candles, and flowers. Dawn had the idea for lightbulb bud vases which was hand-made and hung from the arch with lanterns for an even more whimsical ceremony. At the ceremony, they channeled fairytale whimsy with a unique ceiling installation which was deliciously elegant. The travel-themed elements were also whimsical! Dawn custom-monogrammed luggage tag escort cards which were hung from a 7-foot tall wooden frame backed with chicken wire (picnic!). They fulfilled the eclectic piece with the layout, which was a mix of one long empirical table, round tables, high-top tables, and lounge seating. The mix of furniture was perfect! Dawn was specific about their colors, which were red, orange, and coral, and worked perfectly for the early summer wedding. Take this Advice

The planning process was effortless and undeniably stress-free due to the early decision my husband and I agreeing to hire a full-time wedding planner. Ours, Bonnie Chase of Events by Bliss. We had a tight budget that we wanted to stick to, and although the expense of a wedding planner can be viewed as a luxury that will take away from the overall budget allocated to the wedding, we knew that we wanted a professional to handle this important event for us, so everyone involved could have a great time. The amount of money we spent upfront to hire Events by Bliss for our wedding saved us tremendously at the end of the day, theoretically speaking. I know that this may not be the case for every couple with every wedding planner. We were extremely blessed and fortunate that luck was on our side, and the stars aligned for us to cross paths (and work with) Bonnie Chase. ~Ashley Lomelin/Wedding Vendor
