On this fine morning, we’re going back to Punta Cana and witness another breathtaking wedding. Tom and Katelyn chose to have a romantic fairytale wedding with gorgeous pink accents to match the wonderful beach. Everyone looked stunning, their hair, jewelry, garter belts, boutonnieres and bouquets, and cake topper contained elements of the sea such as sea stars, pearls, and seashells. Other aspects of the décor were inspired by the nature of Lake Placid, NY, as seen in the wood of the décor and the Adirondack chairs for the cake toppers. Additional elements integrated into the ceremony was the linen attire worn by the men and the Panama hats worn by the father of the bride and the groom. But I just have to say that the bride, in her gorgeous white dress, was definitely the star of the show-you could totally see the happiness radiating all over her! Take this Advice
My advice to couples still planning for a wedding is to start early, budget carefully and perhaps with an excel spreadsheet, ask lots of questions about pricing prior to the event in order to stay in budget since wedding vendors can surprise you with price sometimes, and be sure to include elements of your husband’s side of the family into the ceremony but remember men don’t always care as much about the décor as we women might think so. I would also recommend utilizing your resources and ask family and friends close to you to help with the planning phase. The most important thing about planning a wedding is have fun with it and don’t let the anxiety take over. At the end of the day, it really is about you and your husband showing your love to each other and making your promises. ~Katelyn Kovski/Bride
