Tying the knot is a significant milestones in our lives. It’s when we finally decide that we want to be with somebody forever — for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, ‘til death do us part. For Haley and Jordan, getting married is the most beautiful moment in their lives and nothing can ever stop them from saying their vows – not even the rain!
Extra Special Wedding Details
The theme. They had a simple peach, gold, and aqua beach chic style.
The wedding accessories. Haley wore the cutest lace and crystal foot jewelry and a beautiful necklace from her grandmother. Her maid of honor had gold foot jewelry that matched her little girl’s who was the cutest little flower girl!
The wedding outfits. The girls in flowing pink dresses and boys in beige suits and aqua ties.
The decoration. The reception was decorated with peach linens, lantern, and an awesome sweets table.
The DIY projects. Since Haley’s wedding ceremony was on the beach, instead of bare feet or shoes she had custom foot jewelry made for all the girls and even had tiny gold ones for her flower girl. She and her mom also brought all the decor from TX including the lantern centerpieces and custom signs.
The tradition. Haley and Jordan went to Texas A&M and are Aggie’s fans. Having class rings is a huge tradition so we incorporated them with their wedding rings as well.
The challenge. It rained and rained that day, the beach was even flooded but right before the ceremony it stopped so they could have their dream wedding in the sand. Haley and Jordan could have their beach wedding literally on the waterfront.
The Photographer’s Advice
Go with the flow and if something doesn’t go as planned your wedding is still going to be amazing! Haley was on pins and needles while getting ready because she really wanted her ceremony to be outside but she didn’t let that bother her and enjoyed every minute of the process. The most important thing is that you are marrying the one you love and if you are having fun everyone else will too!
