Our bride’s fiery red hair and our groom’s stand-out blue, white, and beige ensemble was an awesome twist to an otherwise sweetly and subtly decorated wedding. Despite the casual vibe of the event, it still exuded a hint of elegance because everything was coordinated nicely from the lovely peach color theme to the gold accented decors. Plus the emotions of love and joy in this day was just brimming, it looked like everyone is having a blast. Congratulations Abigail & Richard!

What would you say, the overall story for this album?
Abby and Rich invited their closest friends to spend the entire weekend with them. I was able to hang out and watch them for a few days before the big day and the main thing I took away from this incredible weekend is how much they not only love each other, but they love all of their family and friends. Abby and Rich love each other so so much, it was so evident the entire weekend, from the subtle way they would look at each other, hold each other, smile at each other… and the beach was the perfect setting for their love. Surrounded by family and friends, this weekend was the perfect setting for a true love story.
What inspired the wedding day outfits?
The beach truly inspired everything about this day. The soft subtle colors of the bridesmaids dresses mixed with the tones of the sand, water and sky so so perfectly! Richard pieced his outfit together from a few of the most dapper places, and the blue shirt was a great touch for the beach!
What was your favorite part of the day?
Just one favorite part?? I have to say I loved the combination of British family on her side, and NOLA friends on his side! Also, they added touches of The Beatles to the reception… and who doesn’t love the Beatles!
Was there any Do it Yourself (DIY) projects? If so, can you describe them in detail?
Because they were doing destination, Abby decided to do the bridesmaids bouquets and reception details herself and take them on the plane. The flowers, centerpieces, and seating assignments at the reception were all done by the bride.
What were the highlights from the ceremony & reception?
My all time favorite highlight from the ceremony is Richard’s reaction the first time he sees his bride. His back was turned until the very last second so the first thing he sees is his bride coming down the aisle, and it was too much for him to take in! They were so excited to see each other, they snuck in a little kiss! The reception was all too much fun! Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night, it could have gone on for several more hours!
Was there a theme for the ceremony and reception?
The beach was the real theme… it was incorporated into the color choices.
What part of the ceremonies do you think was the most memorable for the bride and groom? Guests?
A really special touch was having a long time friend of Richard perform the ceremony… he added so much personality to the ceremony it was definitely not your normal service.
