Beach Soulmates

This couple’s beach photo shoot truly made them look like two beings that were brought together by the beach. Every single photo of them embraced the beauty the beach had to offer – their outfits were even inspired by it. Our bride wore an elegant gown that flowed with the sea breeze. Our groom wore a dapper white top with black vest. Congratulations on your wedding, Chelsea & Travis!

What is the overall story for this album?

Chelsea & Travis were married on the sandy white beaches of Florence Oregon on a beautiful sunny October day! Travis’s family had frequented the beautiful coastline during family vacations throughout his childhood so
the sandy white dunes held a special place in his heart. He instilled that same love for the beaches in Chelsea by visiting the area often to dirt bike in the sand dunes. He surprised Chelsea with a weekend away in Oregon
earlier this year and then got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife! So it only made sense that they would also commit their lives to one another along these same beautifully dreamy beaches. The Driftwood
Shores Resort was the perfect backdrop for this carefree couple

What inspired the wedding day outfits?

The beach! They wanted dresses that were long and airy and colors that matched the light backgrounds of the sandy white beaches. The men wore rolled up pants and everyone walked down the aisle in bare feet

What was your favorite part of the day?

My favorite part of the day was exploring the beaches with the wedding party during formals. I had to stand back a few times to really stop and take it all in. The salty breeze and stunning views had me in a bit of a trance.
Every single person in the wedding party was so relaxed and taking it all in. It felt serene, surreal. Very peaceful!

Was there any Do it Yourself (DIY) projects? If so, can you describe them in detail?

The bride made her own beaded sandals using white beads and little silver sand dollars and shells. There was also a wooden sign out front at the ceremony saying shoes optional.

What part of the ceremonies do you think was the most memorable for the bride and groom?

Exchanging their vows was a big one. Both Chelsea & Travis were grinning from ear to ear, you could really see their love for one another. But I’d have to say that hanging out with all of their closest family and friends during
the formal photos was a favorite for them too. The both kept exclaiming how perfect things were and how they really just couldn’t have imagined anything better for their wedding
