Extra Special Details
The DIY Projects. Sand dollars, mason jars, invitations – these were the things that the couple themselves made.
A destination wedding. Since friends and family traveled from all over the US to be there, it was a destination wedding for mostly everyone. They all stayed at the resort for the weekend so it was more than just a 1 day celebration
The greatest favor. The mother of the bride’s best friend is a professional chef in Chicago and offered to come down and cook their rehearsal dinner meal. It was incredible! She ended up cooking pretty much the whole weekend for everyone staying on site. They’d go by the pool house and she always had something going. It was such a blessing.
The wedding trip. It was the groom’s parents first time ever coming to Florida. They got to see a lot of sights on their way to and from the wedding and made a trip out of it.
Siesta Key fever. Everyone that stayed at the property got to enjoy Siesta Key Village after the wedding and kept the celebration going! Everyone had plenty to do and see the whole time they were in town. Many families that traveled down created new family traditions and are thinking of coming to Florida now every year for Thanksgiving.
