There are many different accessories most brides-to-be can’t even imagine walking down the aisle without. However, for beach brides, there are some special ones that should be considered. We’ve gathered our favorite beach wedding accessories; use them as inspiration or pick these accessories up for your own beach wedding.
1. Beach Wedding Flip Flops
Let’s face it – no matter how beautiful those white pumps are with the lace and the pearls, it’s going to be awkward walking through the sand in heels. That’s why we love the idea of beach wedding flip flops. They can look elegant and beautiful, but are much more appropriate and much more comfortable for a beach wedding. If you don’t love the idea of wearing flip flops to your wedding, you can opt for a dressier pair of sandals that are still much more comfortable than heels.
2. Hair Pins
If you were set on flowing, beautiful hair for your wedding day, you may want to reconsider if you’re planning to be a beach bride. An updo can look elegant and stunning, and also has the added benefit of keeping your hair from blowing directly into your face during photos or even during the all-important kiss! Primer is essential for an outdoor wedding in the sunshine, especially in warmer temperatures. One of the most appealing things about the beach is the gentle (and sometimes not so gentle) breeze. For weddings that are taking place on the beach during fall or winter, we love these cozy wedding blankets. Shawls are great as well, and allow people to cover up if the wind is a little too chilly during the ceremony.
