A Hundred Percent Love On A 75 Degree Summer-like Day

Let’s share joy in this Valentine weekend engagement session around iconic San Francisco locations, including Palace of Fine Arts, Marina Harbor and Baker Beach. Golden Gate is featured in the background of several shots. Shoot concludes with a beautiful sunset. To Irina and Geoff – congratulations on finding each other! Your engagement is wonderful!

How It All Began

Irina and Geoff met in one of the most coveted ways imaginable: he saw her across the room and was instantly smitten. He watched her laugh and brush her hair back from her face and knew that he had to make a move.

Extra Special Details

Where they went. It took the team from the magnificent Palace of Fine Arts, to the Marina Harbor, where Irina and Geoff’s boat was docked. From there, they headed to Baker Beach, to bask in the sunshine and ultimately enjoy an incredible sunset.

The wedding venue. They have decided to tie the knot at the glorious San Francisco City Hall, and since San Francisco holds so much meaning for them, they also wanted to do an engagement session around the City.

The weather. Ordinarily, a February engagement can mean grey and gloom in SF, but the day could not have been more perfect. People were out on the beach drinking beer and BBQ-ing; the City was packed and joyful.

The best time of their lives. Irina and Geoff’s City Hall wedding will take place in early June!

Tips From The Photographer

♥ An engagement session is an invaluable opportunity to get to know your photographer, to build trust and comfort with them, and of course to come away with some awesome photos.

♥ Unless timing is tight, don’t compromise on weather. Especially if the beach is involved, stake out a beautiful and warm day for your engagement shoot. Schedule the shoot late in the day so that you’ll be able to snag some romantic sunset photos. — Sasha Yevelev
