Favorable Minty Memories

To Hayley and Justin, it is important to follow your heart of what you really want in your wedding day. To them, a handful of DIY out of greys, mints, and corals filled the day that left favorable memories to the guests. Since it was a beach wedding, it’s just fitting for the women of the entourage to wear flowy dresses. Take this good read and share your thoughts with us! Have fun!

 The Extra Special Wedding Details

The Creative Bride: I am a creative person so I did most of our decor on my own from the centerpieces, signs, gifts, and a lot more. I used Pinterest a lot to help get ideas.

Handful’o DIY’s: A lot of our wedding decor was DIY. I spray-painted wine bottles for our centerpieces. I handmade candles from consignment shop glasses. I also handmade candles and a mason jar’s for gifts. I created and painted our wedding signs.

The Wedding Relic: We did a paint ceremony which is similar to a sand ceremony. We had a vinyl cut out of our initials on a canvas and poured two different color paints together to combined as one. After the paint dried we put the vinyl stickers off to have our initials revealed through the paint.

The Motif: Fun Soft colors for a fall wedding at the beach. I also let the bridesmaids pick out their dresses that they liked and felt more comfortable in.

Tips For Brides-to-be

It’s your wedding so you can do whatever you want. I didn’t feel the need to stick true to tradition. And if you want to withhold something or change things around so it fits you and your partners personality, do it!

Plan the wedding for you. Don’t sweat the small stuff. People won’t always see the small details so don’t focus in on them too much. It goes by so quickly so just cherish the moments and memory of that day.
