Clark and Marissa are photogenic on their own, but there was definitely something extra special in their photos. Alicia, their photographer who captured this couple’s love in photos so beautifully, owes that to the actual proposal that happened a week ago – on Valentine’s Day, no less! Who needs all those choreographed poses when you got that Valentine’s spark?

Sea Stars For You And Me
Ben and Heather’s wedding made me want to have a beach wedding in the future. The teal, white, and ivory embodied the beach quite beautifully. Plus they used tiny starfish as an alternative for rose petals. Doesn’t that make it more authentic? And props to Heather for signs that she made that were spread around the venue.
Want Some Ice Cream?
“Now that we’re married, want some ice cream?” — or something similar must’ve been Vicky and Gavin’s conversation after their wedding ceremony. And get some ice cream, they did. Quirky things – an ice cream van, for one – were found all over their wedding (and mostly DIY, too!) and are a shout-out to this couple’s fun personality.
A Piece of (Beach) Art
In Carrie and Rob’s sandy beach wedding, there was sand everywhere except the sand ceremony. Instead of using sand to symbolize their union, they used the colors of their wedding and painted it onto a canvas.
Fate Is A Funny Thing
I do believe that fate brings people together no matter what the circumstances are – if it’s their time to cross paths it’ll happen. If anything’s meant to be, it will be. Now, Michael and Lauren’s story is just the proof of that. If it weren’t for that elevator ride, I wouldn’t have written this feature for today. We wouldn’t have been able to witness this beautiful wedding. I love stories like this. Even better than novels because you know it happened in real life.
