Getting married in the place where you grew up brings that special feeling of content and nostalgia. Katie is lucky to experience such beautiful plight in her life. The beach where she and Daniel got married, was spruced up with DIY’s and floral arrangements of carnation pink, pearl, and grey. Everywhere you look, everything is delicate. And instead of wearing the typical and challenging stilettos, Katie chose to wear feet embellishments made of pearl beads, lace, and ribbons which looks sublime in all angles. Ah, their look at each other will give you butterflies in your stomach! To Katie and Dan, keep the butterflies alive! Congratulations on your wedding!
Private Residence
Quintessential Bohemian
From Josh’s dad’s favorite spot where they got married to Haley’s grandparent’s cake toppers, this wedding is made up of beautiful elements. The whole event became extra special because of those memories. They had an intimate bohemian theme going on. And to go along with that idea, they decorated an old Volkswagen van with pompom garlands to serve as the PhotoBUS (Oh you know, a photobooth pun heehee).
You Are The One
It must have been such a magical moment when Sarah and Scott realized that they were each other’s “The One”. Their loving relationship has led to this beautiful Hawaiian beach wedding. I also want to mention how they were able to honor members of their families. As much as the wedding day is about the bride and the groom, let’s not forget about the people around them who helped made it all happen.
A Lovely Cause, a Beautiful Beginning
We usually encounter couples that are brought together by a common acquaintance, workplace, or even, common schools, so our featured couple today, who was brought together by a common cause, is a bit rare to our books and we’re very glad to chance upon them both. Nicole and Derek shares a common advocacy towards the misunderstood pit bulls. It was their love for this amazing breed that gave them the opportunity to meet and one day become husband and wife. I believe reasons like this [shared principles] is one of the best foundations for love. But moving on to their beautiful DIY wedding, it was such a well planned and decorated event. And if you want to know more about it, our bride gave us the complete account on her wedding projects. And speaking of, in behalf of all the future DIY brides, we thank you Nicole! And truly, it was a perfect day that was brought upon in the beginning by a beautiful cause. Congratulations Nicole & Derek!
Not Your Usual Beach Wedding
Our feature today is not your usual beach wedding. We’re so used to white or yellow sand beaches that whenever we have an album that has dark black sand like this, it’s a definite standout. Another unusual detail is that our couple’s wedding venue can only be accessed by water transportation. Destination weddings are very common with having the beach setup, but the common beaches used for events like these are easily accessed by airplanes, so having a venue as intimate and private as this one in Newfoundland, Canada is noteworthy. All in all, it was a beautiful wedding set in an equally magnificent island. Congratulations Heather & Adrian.
