A very nautical and beach-y wedding that ended up in a fun “trash the dress” shoot. Our couple, Brittney and Wes, really embraced the elements of the location they chose. The beach was credited for the casual vibe throughout the event (“but not too Jimmy Buffett” says the bride) and the yacht where they had the reception was credited for the nautical theme and the color palette. Then afterwards, while the sun is setting, they had a beautiful trash the dress shoot where the bride shared that it can get unbelievably heavy. But hey, the shots turned out to be amazing! Congratulations Brittney & Wes!

Traditions and Elegance
It’s not new to our sight whenever a groom cries tears of joy on his and his bride’s first look, but every time we encounter one lucky fella, it’s like seeing something fresh again and I’m in awe from such a beautiful emotion. Just like when I first saw Spencer’s picture, our groom from today’s feature, of him shedding tears as his bride walked towards him to the altar, such a perfectly captured moment. But moving on to the event itself, Spencer and Christina had a traditional Jewish ceremony after which, their reception was held in an area overlooking the beach and sunset. And despite the relaxing vibe of the venue, the way they fixed the decors and lighting created such an elegant look. Congratulations Spencer & Christina!
A Lovely Cause, a Beautiful Beginning
We usually encounter couples that are brought together by a common acquaintance, workplace, or even, common schools, so our featured couple today, who was brought together by a common cause, is a bit rare to our books and we’re very glad to chance upon them both. Nicole and Derek shares a common advocacy towards the misunderstood pit bulls. It was their love for this amazing breed that gave them the opportunity to meet and one day become husband and wife. I believe reasons like this [shared principles] is one of the best foundations for love. But moving on to their beautiful DIY wedding, it was such a well planned and decorated event. And if you want to know more about it, our bride gave us the complete account on her wedding projects. And speaking of, in behalf of all the future DIY brides, we thank you Nicole! And truly, it was a perfect day that was brought upon in the beginning by a beautiful cause. Congratulations Nicole & Derek!
Low Key, High Quality
When asked to describe the kind of wedding Key West brides are usually known for, the photographer uttered the words “low key yet high quality” and I couldn’t have depicted this wedding feature any better. Despite the laid back style of this event, it is undeniable that everything flowed smoothly and elegantly – total perfection indeed. The simpleness of the details were beautifully ministered that our couple’s special day turned out to be one for the books. Specially our beautiful bride Erin, who wore a sleek chignon and a lovely tiered dress – she was really a bride to behold. Congratulations Erin & James!
